Dedicated Community & Military Support Services

From Admissions to Student Success and Financial Aid to Career Services, our Military Division has dedicated staff committed to helping support our military students with any facet of their academic journey. Our Military Division advisors connect one-on-one with students from the beginning of their CIAT journey, and champion them through their academic achievements, program completions, and job placements. CIAT is home to hundreds of military students; when you enroll you can tap into a like-minded community brimming with opportunities for connection and a shared sense of purpose.

Hybrid Campus Plan Available

We are proud to announce the latest evolution of our campus plans: our Hybrid Campus Plan. Students who elect to participate in CIAT’s Hybrid Campus option will be required to attend one class session, their final exam, at CIAT’s National City campus. Physical attendance will be required, tracked, and reported to the Veterans Administration, Department of Education, and/or any other federal or state agencies that require residency verification.

Veterans

With your service behind you, it’s time to transition back into civilian life with a degree in IT administration, cybersecurity, networking, coding, or data analytics. We’ll pay specific attention to your needs with our intimate class sizes and responsive career counseling services. We also proudly offer financial aid options such as the Post 9/11 GI Bill® aid package and MyCAA scholarship programs.

Active Duty

At CIAT, we know how difficult it can be juggling active duty while expanding your education. How could you possibly squeeze in classes and studying while on-call and ready for deployment 24/7? That’s where we can help. Our flexible in-person and online course schedules make it easy to earn your degree no matter where you are. CIAT also offers Active Duty Tuition Assistance to help foot the bill for your new degree. Tuition Assistance (TA) funds are a unique, distinct source of financial aid available to eligible Service members. Tuition Assistance (TA) will be classified as a “first payer” and be applied to students’ accounts prior to the application of any Pell Grant awarded.

Military Spouses and Families

Education is essential and CIAT is proud to support military spouses and family members as they pursue their higher education goals. CIAT participates in the My Career Advancement Account Scholarship Program, a workforce development program that provides up to $4,000 in financial assistance to eligible military spouses for the pursuit or maintenance, including continuing education courses, of a license, certification or associate degree necessary to gain employment in an occupation or career field.

We understand the challenges of attending in-person classes for active duty and deployed service members. That's why we offer a Hybrid Campus Plan, where you only need to attend your final exam session at our National City campus. All other coursework can be completed 100% online.
