Complimentary Bootcamps

Starting in 2025, California Institute of Applied Technology (CIAT) will be launching a series of complimentary certification and coding bootcamps for CIAT students during the one-week breaks in the 2025 academic calendar.

These bootcamp events will provide additional accelerated support as you prepare to earn industry-recognized certifications and build your resume, complementing your regular coursework and boosting your professional qualifications.

These bootcamps will be offered to the public at a full tuition charge but at no cost to active students.

2025 Academic Calendar Highlights

The 2025 academic year calendar includes four one-week breaks, during which the bootcamps will be held:

Bootcamp Schedule

We’re excited to offer a flexible and comprehensive schedule designed to accommodate the diverse needs of our students and working professionals. Our bootcamps are structured to provide intensive, focused learning experiences that can fit into your busy life. Each boot camp will have three sessions:

Morning

9:00am — 1:00pm PST
Afternoon

3:00pm — 7:00pm PST
Evening

6:00pm — 10:00pm PST

Bootcamp Topics

Our bootcamps will cover a wide range of certifications and coding topics, including but not limited to:

Tech+ (CompTIA Tech+): Foundational IT certification focusing on hardware, software, and basic cybersecurity concepts.
A+ (CompTIA A+): Proves competency in PC technology, networking, and security, ideal for IT support roles.
Net+ (CompTIA Network+: Validates expertise in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting networks.
Sec+ (CompTIA Security+): Demonstrates proficiency in core cybersecurity skills for IT security professionals.
Cisco CCNA: Certifies ability to install, configure, and operate medium-sized routed and switched networks.
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner: Verifies overall understanding of the AWS Cloud platform and its services.
Coding: Teaches programming languages and software development principles for creating applications and websites.
