About CIS102A — Networking Fundamentals, Part 1

This course represents the 1st half of a two-part class. In this course, students will learn about systems both on-premises and in the cloud as the content will balance technical concepts with practical, everyday issues. Topics covered will include common networking devices, wired and wireless topologies, cabling standards, Local Area Network technologies, Ethernet standards, network servers, network software, network protocols, network virtualization and an introduction to cloud computing.
