Transfer Scholarships

CIAT is offering scholarships for any student transferring from another accredited institution in the amount of up to $2,500 per person, depending on # of credits completed. If your college or career school closed while you were enrolled, or soon after you withdrew, we can help. The previous school must have been an accredited college for CIAT to accept transfer credits. If the school is closed, the school is required to make accommodations for you to access your academic records indefinitely. Your school must communicate information about your academic transcripts once the location has been determined. Applicants must submit the following to scholarships@ciat.edu:

  • Official transcripts from transferring school or the closed school (minimum 6+ completed credits required with a cumulative 2.5+ GPA)
  • Apply for federal financial aid
  • Be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen

Personal Statement

Applicants must also submit a 500-word personal statement covering the following:

  • Why did you select Technology as your career?

  • How is CIAT going to help you achieve your personal and career goals?

  • Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Eligible programs: Students enrolled in Associate of Applied Science Degrees, or Certificate programs with minimum 8 courses are eligible up to $2,500 per student based on the eligibility criteria. All other programs are eligible up to $1,250 per student.
